So today at work, Rose sends me the picture shown above of an older puppy at the Kitsap Humane Society. She’s an older dog, estimated to be about seven.

They gave her the name Angelica, but we are going to change it. Alicia is coming up with all sorts of names.

She is settling in fine so far. She seems to know the word “outside” as her tail starts to wag and she heads for the door.

Rose is very happy tonight and is sleeping with her out in the front room.

She had some benign growths removed and was spayed so she is wearing the “cone” and will need to continue with it until next Thursday when she gets her stitches removed.

I, and I think we all, feel good to have rescued her and provide her with her forever home.
